What changed on April 1, 2024?

USCIS implemented the 2024 fee schedule final rule. Before: common forms used the prior fee schedule, often without online/paper splits. After: Form G-1055 listed the new schedule, including examples such as Form I-130 at $625 online or $675 paper, Form N-400 at $710 online or $760 paper, and Form I-485 at $1,440 for many applicants.

What changed on January 1, 2026?

USCIS applied FY2026 inflation adjustments to certain HR-1 immigration-related fees. Before: annual asylum fee was $100, selected initial EAD fees were $550, and TPS Form I-821 was $500. After: those became $102, $560, and $510 respectively for covered filings.

What changed on March 1, 2026?

Premium processing fees increased for Form I-907 requests postmarked on or after March 1, 2026. Before: the common premium tiers included $2,805, $1,965, and $1,685. After: those tiers became $2,965, $2,075, and $1,780.
