Why must all three mandatory items be ticked?
The 50 mandatory points are non-tradeable: 20 for a job offer from a Home Office-licensed sponsor, 20 for the job being at the required skill level (RQF 3 / A-level equivalent or above), and 10 for English at B1. If any one is missing you cannot qualify, regardless of salary.
What is the salary threshold in 2026?
The general threshold is £41,700 per year (or £17.13 per hour), and you must be paid the higher of that and your occupation’s published going rate.
