Skilled workers with a job offer from a designated employer in one of the participating rural communities (the successor to the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot).
Eligibility requirements
- A genuine job offer from a designated employer in a participating community - full-time (30+ hours/week), permanent (no set end date) and non-seasonal
- At least 1 year (1,560 hours) of relevant work experience in the last 3 years (or a qualifying credential from a local institution for graduates)
- A community recommendation: the designated employer/community endorses you, then you apply to IRCC for PR
- Meet federal language, education and proof-of-funds thresholds plus any extra requirements the specific community sets (priority sectors and NOCs differ by community and changed for 2026)
- Intend to live in that community
