Your checks before paying
The amount to pay is not established. Match your circumstances to the current official fee entries; this checklist does not add historic base fees.
- Find the exact form and current edition on the official USCIS Forms page.
- Match the exact filing category and request type to the current G-1055 fee entry, including initial, renewal or replacement where applicable.
- Confirm the permitted filing method and its fee: online filing and paper filing can have different fees and exceptions.
- Check whether the applicant’s age changes the applicable fee category.
- Check separate statutory or other additional fees, any court-filing rules, and fee exemptions or waivers for this specific category.
- For multiple forms or applicants, verify each fee separately. Filing together does not establish a combined payment amount or method.
- Reopen the official payment instructions before paying. Paper-filed forms generally require electronic payment; limited exceptions use Form G-1651.
This page only uses your form selection; it does not collect applicant details. Method references: 8 CFR 106.2, 8 CFR 106.1, USCIS payment notice (October 28, 2025). These references explain which conditions to check; they are not a complete current fee quote.

Frequently asked questions
Does this calculate the amount I owe?
No. A form number alone does not establish the applicable fee. This checklist keeps the amount to pay unestablished until you verify the exact conditions and current official fees.
Why do age and filing method matter?
Some fee entries depend on age, online or paper filing, or whether another application is filed at the same time. Use the official entry for your situation; do not add generic historical base amounts.
Should I add a standard biometric fee?
No. A biometrics appointment does not itself establish an extra fee. Check whether the current fee entry requires a separate biometric services charge.
Can I pay one combined amount for multiple forms?
Verify each form and applicant separately and follow current USCIS payment instructions. Filing forms together does not establish a combined amount or payment method.
