International students aged 16+ with an unconditional place (a CAS) on an eligible course at a licensed student sponsor.
Eligibility requirements
- Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from a licensed student sponsor, used within 6 months of issue.
- English at CEFR B2 for degree-level courses (B1 for below degree level).
- Maintenance funds: 1,483 pounds/month for London (up to 9 months) or 1,136 pounds/month outside London, plus unpaid tuition; held 28 consecutive days. (Rising to 1,529 / 1,171 pounds for some 2026 applications.)
- Sufficient funds for first year's tuition shown on the CAS.
- Work limits apply (typically 20 hrs/week in term time for degree students).
